Oregon - checkin' in!

Love the picture of the cousins! Wish we could have all been there, but I'm glad you had such a great time. We have been having a good time too. We all went over to Erin's parents for dinner tonight. It was fun sharing Noah and I think he enjoyed the attention! :) Tomorrow we're spending some time with Amy's parents. We're looking forward to that also! Jon and I are heading out early tomorrow morning for breakfast and then to buy him a violin! Yep, he's taking up the violin. Sometime during the day we're going to the Sandy festival - that should be fun. The weather is beautiful now - cool and sunny. We took 3 nice walks today, enjoying the flowers and checking out a few shops downtown Sandy. It's been a great trip. Noah is precious and loves chattering. He's already starting to push up on all fours and is trying to turn over. He loves having Erin read to him. As you can see from this photo he's fairly easily amused - a finger to chew on does the trick!
Love you all!

Hey!! We've been wondering how your time is going! We so, so wish we could be there with you all! I hope you had a nice time at lunch with my folks. We were out in the backyard this evening having "family time" yay! (It's so nice to have Joel home again!) and we were picking our blackberries and it hit me that I'll be in Oregon this summer for some good ol' Oregon berries. Did you make it to the little blue house store in Sandy? It's one of my favorites..especially at Christmas.

We love you all and miss you!

The blue store is closed! but we did go through some great stores. Jon and I ate at Toll Gate this morning and I had banana nut pancakes! Yum! This afternoon we walked through the sandy festival and had an elephant ear! That was yummy too! Noah is a great sport about walking around and of course we all love hearing the comments about how cute he is! Wish you were here too - we've been talking alot about Abigail's birthday trying to figure out an appropriate gift for a special one-year old. Any suggestions?

Love you!

hey, matthew is enjoying fingers too, these days! Can you believe he's 5 months today? He's definitely big enough :) Sounds like everyone is having lots of fun! Joel and Amy... when are y'all coming to Oregon? Ben thinks August?

Yup, August. Abigirl and I go on July 27th to spend a week with my parents and then Joel and the 6 students follow on August 4th. Can't wait! We're all there for two and a half quick weeks and then back to SLO on Aug. 21st.
I had my first elephant ear at the Sandy Festival when I was 7 or 8...I thought it was so weird! Was it really an ear?? I think it held me back from really enjoying it. : )
An idea for a gift...hmmm...do you want to do a toy or clothes? If a toy, maybe something from the Little People, if clothes, anything after 18 months would be great. Thanks for thinking of her!
