Sunny Sandy

We've been having a "ball" with Erin, Jon, and NOAH! We've discovered an incredible attraction to balls of all kinds. He thought he'd gone to heaven the other day when we went to Fred Meyers and the balls were stacked sky high in the toy department. He's got quite a kick and enjoys spending most all of his waking hours outside. It has been beautiful but they are predicting 90+ weather beginning Friday for atleast 4 days - we should feel right at home! Erin had a flat of strawberries when we arrived that we've been enjoying too. I feel bad we're too early for the blueberries but can't hit it all. Besides enjoying the trio here we're getting lost of rest and I'm reading a book by Ted Dekker - yep Marie I started it. It is sufficiently suspenseful to keep me looking out the windows! :)

missed the video somehow

Happy Father's Day!!!

Wanted to remind you dad what it was like having boys. For all of us kids, "why did we act like that for Dad?" At church tonight we are viewing a video of Rick Burgess from the radio show "Rick and Bubba" The video is of him doing his three year olds funeral. If you have time check it outon our website at burgessroadbaptist.org live at 6:00. Thanks dad for all you've done and are doing for us kids. Mom sure knew what she was doing when she let you marry her. LOve you DAD!!! Thanks for everything, including not killing me when I was little like Ryan and Matthew. :) Ben

Our busy month

How to sum up the last 3 weeks…busy. We had a good time in TX visiting friends (including Aunt Beth & family and Steve Hulls) but it just wasn’t as relaxing as normal. I guess that’s what weddings do. Ian’s (my bro) wedding was lovely and they’re finally married. Noah didn’t want to ride down the isle in the Hummer with the rest of the kids and Jon missed most everything because he was hanging out with Noah but it gave him something to do since he didn’t know that many people. It’s good to be home and have Noah sleeping again. He had a hard time with that.

Ian & Heidi’s honeymoon was awful. I just have to tell you. They went to Cancoon. There were crying babies on the plane, their room was under construction so they got a room with 2 double beds, air-conditioning but no ventilation (which meant that nothing dried), he was constipated most of the time, she had a migrane 2 days, it rained for 4 days, the beach consisted of concrete with a foot of sand at the end, the food was horrible, the hotel didn’t have any of the amenities they advertised, they got sunburns on the one day of sun and to top it off….she started her period the day before the wedding and when Ian called to report on the honeymoon 11 days later she still had her "visitor". It will be a story he tells for the rest of his life!

Mark Krupa came to visit his name-sake (Noah Krupa Woodard) last weekend and it was WONDERFUL. We had such a blast catching up and encouraging each-other. This weekend our old neighbors came to visit and we got together with a bunch of friends. It was a good time.
That’s enough for now. The rest of the month is busy but we’ll post all about that when it come.

pictures...

Hey... here are some fun pictures of the boys. I don't think we ever posted pics, but that is my new sink:) I love it! It will be very interesting to have all the cousins together, I think! I think they will be more alike than we think:) It's funny that you say that about Eli and Matthew, because Abigail always reminded me of Katelyn when she was little:) Both my kids have "woodard eyes" as I call them - all of you have the same eyes!!! There must be a strong blue gene in there!! The blonde hair is still a bit of a mystery.... Check out Ryan in his super spidey shoes and buzzy helmet and his super weapons. His little imagination is blooming big these days!

Boy Cousins

Hey Ben Woodard family...
I was just looking at old posts with pictures of your boys, especially Matthew. It's fun to see the similarities Elijah has with them. Eli's eyes especially remind me of Matthew's, check out photos from last July. I think for more recent pics of Eli, you'd have to see our other blog though.

Just fun! Can't wait to be with the whole family this Christmas and especially to have all the cousins together!
