We just got back from a short trip up to Atlanta to be with my parents. We had a really good visit! We were even able to visit my grandparents who i haven't seen in a very long time. They haven't met Matthew yet and haven't seen Ryan in over a year. It was nice, because Grandpa was actually 'with it.' For those who don't know, he has Alzheimer's and is in the nursing home, so sometimes he's himself, but mostly he's someone else. I fed Matthew his cereal and fruit while Grandma fed Grandpa his pureed lunch :) It was almost funny - we were both feeding our babies:) I got to help him finish eating and put him back to bed for his nap. It was so hard to leave him. Being a nurse, I know how horrid nursing home conditions are. It's hard to leave without knowing he's going to get good care. We did get to spend some time with Grandma too. Today is her 79th birthday! Next year dad turns 60 and Grandma is 80! More later... I had to work today, and I'm going back in the morning...
Oh, could you all please pray for Wanda Bland. She works night shift on my floor at the hospital and she goes to our church. She drowned/had a heart attack over the holiday and is still in the hospital. She is improving, but is still having a really hard time breathing - and sitting still! She's a very in command and 'go' type person so it's killing her that she isn't up and moving around. Please pray that she has a complete and speedy recovery! She's doing better, but the docs say she isn't out of the woods yet. Thanks!

We're glad you all had a good time and are home safe. Debbie, what do you have Matthew sitting in in the bathtub? Noah can't quite sit yet but he is really too big for his infant bathtub. What's next?
Such cute little boys! It's fun that they look so much alike! Sometimes I look at pictures of Matthew and wonder if it's him or Ryan. I'm glad you guys had a good time in Atlanta and got to spend some good time with your Gpa and Gma.
Matthew and Ryan do look incredibly alike - and more the older they get. I love seeing pictures of them together! We've had an interesting fun filled weekend at Marie's. Even ended up at the hospital this morning with my friend Brenda after she collapsed at Cracker Barrel after breakfast. Not sure what happened but she seems better now. Visited Curtis and saw a bunch of friends. It was fun. Grandparents day was fun I'll upload some pics soon. Glad you had time to spend with your grands Debbie.
it's a bath seat -something-er-other. Yeah, we got it for Ryan when he got to fat for his little tub and wanted to sit up. Ithink we got it at walmart. safety 1st makesit. oh, Matthew is crawling now! and he got his first tooth! He's sick now, though - ear infection. Poor guy!
