Wanted to share a sunny day at the park! Ryan and Matthew love going to play. Not much going on over here. Not much sleep happening either! Last night was horrible. We would get one sleeping and the other one would wake up his brother..... We even drove around for 30 min? I think, and Ryan still would not go to sleep. Matthew did, but his brother woke him up as soon as we pulled in the driveway. Needless to say, we are TIRED. I was working Wed and Thurs. I just know someone holds up a sign in front of our hospital "If you are on crack or you abuse rx drugs, please come deliver your baby at Baptist." I was so mad Wednesday. I had to send home a sweet little baby to a mom with an intense history of cocaine abuse - she actually tried to commit suicide with an overdose DURING her pregnancy. Her other 5 children were in state custody, but for some reason the state thought the 6th one would be different? That poor baby! Better run, Matthew is pulling all the past bills out of the box - what a mess!

Wow, Debbie. That's a lot to deal with at work, especially with being so tired on top of it. It must be so hard at times...I'm glad though, that the Lord chose YOU to be Christ to those hurting people.
I agree, I can only imagine how difficult some days must be and overwhelming with what you see. I'm sure it makes you hug your little boys a bit tighter and appreciate your home. I love the video of Matthew - he seems like such a happy baby! I'm anxious to see him - and Ryan - and You - and Ben! :)
Thanks for posting! I'm glad we only have one to deal with right now. We're tired too. We're lucky to get 3 hours in a row. I just keep thinking that by age 15 surly he'll be sleeping some more or at least I don't need to be up with him!
How sad! It sure doesn't make any sense that they would allow that baby to go home with the mother. I sure hope you get sleep soon!!
