That's a cute video! We are really looking forward to all the cousins giggling together this Christmas! We're going to have some interesting meals!! : )Can't wait!
You're not kidding about intresting meals! We may have to do meals in shifts, at least we sometimes have to do that in our house. Thanks for the video! Hearing a child laugh is so much fun.
What?!! That's crazy! YOu guys have a big table, how does that work...eating in shifts for three of you? Or maybe you're talking when you have guests over??
No, it's because we're not done eating but Noah is ready for bed and hyper. One will take him to get ready while the other one finishes and the switch. Not always, just sometimes when dinner is late.
That's what Joel said...we have to do that sometimes too. What time is Noah's bedtime? We tried moving A's back an hour to 8, but she didn't do very well with it and is ready for bed at 7 even though it's still light out. It's fine with us! It gives us 3 hours each night for just Joel and I. Woo Hoo!
NOah's going to sleep between 6:30-8 depending on his naps. He is just changing to 1 nap a day and that's been changing his bedtime. It's been earlier. Jon isn't home until 9pm sometimes so I get quiet time those nights.
Ok, so am I the only one with kids that go to bed late? If I sent Ryan and Matthew to bed that early, they would be up at 5 am! We eat at 5pm, bath at 7p, snack at 8 and bed at 830-9p or later if it's church night. It's rare that Ben and I are both at home together at night.... sounds nice though:)
If I put Noah to bed that late he'd still be getting up between 6-7:30am (I've tried! I HATE getting up before 7) Why make his day harder because he's soooo tired?
When Abigail was about 4 months old, I read that babies need about 10-12 hours of sleep a night. And no matter what time at night you put them to bed, they'll always wake about the same time, so if she's waking up at 6 (which she was at the time) then she would need to be in bed between 6 & 7. And she's been doing it ever since! Weird! But oh, so nice!
