New things

Well, this morning there is a cool breeze blowing and rain falling. There is actually a thunderstorm! We don't get those often. It's a nice change from triple digets and a hot house. I like it because they say warm temps (80s) are coming again. Fall hasn't arrived yet and although Jon is ready for it...I'm not.

We took some pictures of our garden at the Stager's house. We've been enjoying lots of produce from it. We FINALLY have a watermellon. I don't expect that we'll actually get to eat it. It's pretty small for August!
I made applesauce for the first time this past week. It's actually pretty good and easy to make if you're going to freeze it. I have some I want to can but I need to get a bigger pot first. We had so many free apples I had to do something!

Noah discovered trampolines and blackberries this weekend. I wanted to share those pictures. They make us smile!

cutie pics!! we too are so ready for fall. I got fall scented air freshners at the store - smells so yummy:) we have had cooler(89?) weather, but constant rain. We are waiting still for tomatoes...ryan calls them buh-may-dos. Cute

We're waiting for tomatoes too. I don't think it's a very good year for them.

Love that blackberry face!!! Maybe the olympics will have trampoline by the time Noah's old enough - looks like he'll be ready!!

They have trampoline already just so you know. We'll see if he stays with the sport.

Hey Erin...can you email me or post that recipe you mentioned on our other blog? And we have some great tomatoes this year! We're going to make some salsa soon...can't wait!

Erin, it was really fun to see you the other day at my parents house, and to meet Noah! I was glad you came over. I will let you know if we have some extra zucchinis! I am sure we will soon!
