Prayer requests

#1 that snickers doesn't kill our new kitty....
#2, seriously, A job came open at my old hospital that I interviewed for today. It probably won't be for me....BUT it is part of the nursery/nicu so Shelly gave me a tour and I realized how much I miss my old job....sigh....pathetic, maybe - I guess time heals all wounds?? absence makes the heart grow fonder?? Anyway, I have a second interview coming up - this one more personal and more specific. I can't work there if they can't let me have sundays off or if they make me take a pay cut. Please pray that they are willing to work with me!!
#3 Matthew actually cried himself to sleep last night for the first time without having a complete panic attack and vomiting/diarrhea ect. Please please pray that he continues. Ben and I have really struggled with him for over a year now and we've tried absolutely everything. We all need Matthew to have better sleeping habits!!

I pray for you as I'm praying for Noah to sleep all night in HIS bed. Last night he did an 8 hr stretch, a bottle and then a 3 hour stretch. That's AWESOME!! He's been getting up a lot at night. I think he's like 3 months old or something. We still have him sleeping in his pack-n-play because he can't climb out of it. He needs to move to his bed soon because he's almost too tall for the pack-n-play.

Abigail recently started sleeping in a twin bed too. She does great through the night, but wakes up around 6 am now!! Yikes! Before it was like 7 or later. Weird. I don't know if she was waking up at 6 before and just couldn't get out of bed and would fall back asleep or what. She's definitely still tired, but won't go back to sleep. Wah for me! Eli doesn't wake until 7 or later. It would be so nice to have that extra hour. I guess maybe 10 years down the road, huh Mom?

Maybe this is all pay back - what do you think? Years of sleep depravation is being passed to the next generation! Seems as soon as they start sleeping all night they begin going to bed later and not wanting to get up in the morning!By the way, dad and I saw Fireproof today. We both really enjoyed it. Would love to hear what you think when you see it.

Kids!!! We put Ryan to bed around 830-900 to combat the early wakenings. It works! We had to get the crib back out for Matthew. He hasn't tried to climb out yet, though.... Making him stay in bed AND getting him to sleep on his own is another battle I don't want right now. Hope, though....Ryan now goes to bed easy and sleeps all night and wakes around 730....I keep reminding myself that Matthew will too.....someday:) Meanwhile....where's the Xanax?

So Debbie, have you heard anything about the job?

The transition nurse position won't work. It's less acuity patients than I am taking care of now. The NICU job is still up in the air
