Our "lake" now boasts an alligator. Dad thought he saw one earlier, but the girls were able to track him down while they were visiting this week. He is quite bold and seems to be very comfortable in his home. I was looking out the window a little bit ago and saw his nose sticking up out of the water close to our bank. He's probably about 5' long. It will be interesting to see how long he stays before animal control finds a new home for him.Hope you all have a wonderful Easter.

That's scarry. I noticed there weren't any geese in the photo... has that alligator been eating much?
Wow! How in the world did he get there?? Don't you think someone would've noticed an alligator walking around looking for a new home??
He seems to be growing, so he's eating something. Interesting though there are still alot of bird around like normal. I'm not sure how he arrived - Maybe a pet that someone put in there or ?????? I double check the back door everytime I have to put trash out though.
Checking that back door sounds like a good idea! And making sure your trash can lid is always on! : )
